Who we are

PEFA Mfangano Child Development Centre (CDC) is a Compassion-assisted project located in Homabay County, within the newly established Suba Central Sub County, at Sena Centre in PEFA Cathedral Sena. Our Child Development and Sponsorship Program (CDSP) is committed to transforming lives by addressing the physical, spiritual, socio-economic, and cognitive needs of children and youth.

It was registered in 2020 as a CBO though it started its work in Mfangano Island as PEFA Mfangano Child Development Center (CDC) in 2018 when Sena PEFA Church signed their first ever partnership agreement with Compassion International Kenya to holistically release needy of neediest children and youths from poverty in Jesus Name.

  • Life-Skills Training: We equip children and youth with essential life skills that promote personal development and self-reliance.
