Jitegemee Caregiver Empowerment Program
Jitegeme Initiative is a FCP Caregivers Empowerment program aiming at enhancing the living standard of all the caregivers at
household level by raising income, Access to clean and safe water, Good health, environment protection, employment
opportunities, and food security through improved agricultural production to address the income poverty. The head of the
households are sensitized and imparted with improved crop and animal production techniques, entrepreneurial and business
management skills. It is as well geared towards improving Caregivers’ livelihood through educational and small scale household
economic activities, group savings and credit programmes to help poor families start small scale economic activities that are
effective in meeting the changing needs of the caregivers to make them truly self-reliant.
